what to expect

1. If you would like your child to be considered for Treacle Kids then complete the application form online or via post by sending two recent photographs to the following address: Treacle Kids, 3 St Stephens Road, Bow, London E3 5JD.
2. If your child is considered suitable then they will be invited to a special studio screening with a professional photographer. In most instances, this will take place on a Saturday and will last up to one hour (not including travelling time to and from the studio). Parents are expected to bring a variety of clothing and will be able to view the shots taken on the day.
3. Invitation to a screening is not a guarantee of acceptance into Treacle Kids.
4. If your child is accepted, then his or her details will be posted onto the website alongside a selection of photographs. No personal information will be given to anybody. We only advertise top-line information, such as date of birth, name and age.

before making an application please consider the following:

1. Most of our castings and jobs take place in London and usually with only 24 hours' notice. If you live outside the London area please consider the amount of travelling involved for you and your child. Living within the M25 area is ideal.
2. Castings for school-age kids are held after school, until around 5.30-6pm.
3. If you work full time, please consider who would be available to take your child to castings and jobs, and would they be happy to do this on a regular basis?
4. Most photoshoots happen in school time. If you're not happy for your child to miss any school, then this is not for you.
5. Babies are usually cast and shot during the day.
